(Studie)Reizen en garantie

Indien wij een evenement organiseren inclusief vervoer of een hotelovernachting, dan is er sprake van een zogenaamde ‘pakketreis’ in de zin van de Richtlijn Pakketreizen (EU) 2015/2302. In dat geval kunt u aanspraak maken op alle EU-rechten die voor pakketreizen gelden.

Garantie geregeld: STO Garant

Om te voldoen aan de wettelijk verplichte garantiestelling maakt CongresArchitect B.V. gebruik van STO Garant, een door de Autoriteit Consument en Markt (ACM) erkende garantieregeling. U kunt dit controleren via de STO Garant deelnemerspagina (www.sto-garant.nl/deelnemers). Alle informatie over STO Garant vindt u op www.sto-garant.nl. Bij elk (reis)aanbod van CongresArchitect B.V. op deze website leest u of de garantie van STO Garant van toepassing is. In de garantieregeling leest u wat de garantie inhoudt en welke voorwaarden van toepassing zijn. U vindt deze garantieregeling op de website van STO Garant (www.sto-garant.nl/downloads).

De werking

Indien de garantie van STO Garant van toepassing is op uw boeking, dan betaalt u de reissom niet aan CongresArchitect B.V., maar aan de derdengeldenrekening van Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, een bij De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) en de Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM) geregistreerde betaaldienstverlener. Deze stichting derdengelden waarborgt uw reissom tot na afloop van uw boeking. De dag na afloop wordt de reissom vrijgegeven aan CongresArchitect B.V. Mocht CongresArchitect B.V. voor het einde van uw boeking in financieel onvermogen geraken, dan voert STO Garant de garantie uit. In de garantieregeling leest u hoe u daar in dat geval aanspraak op maakt.

(Study)Trips and Guarantee

When we organize an event including transportation or a hotel stay, this combination services constitutes a ‘travel package’ within the meaning of the Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302. This means that you are entitled to make claims under all EU legislation applying to travel packages.

A guarantee in place: STO Garant

In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee, CongresArchitect B.V. uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). You can check that this is the case by visiting STO Garant’s website and verifying that the organisation is listed as a participant (www.sto-garant.nl/en/members). You can find all information relating to STO Garant at www.sto-garant.nl/en.

Whether STO Garant’s guarantee applies to a particular (travel) offer made by CongresArchitect B.V. is specified for that offer. The Guarantee Scheme specifies what the guarantee covers and which conditions apply. You can find the Guarantee Scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

How it works

If STO Garant’s guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the booking amount to CongresArchitect B.V. but instead into the escrow account belonging to Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment services provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This trust account holds your payment in reserve until the trip booked has come to an end. The booking amount is then released to CongresArchitect B.V. on the day after your trip ends. If CongresArchitect B.V. should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
